For a month, in collaboration with inmates and the police of Estado de Mexico, we transformed the Neza Bordo Penitentiary Center with vibrant murals that embody values of peace, love, freedom, and Mexican identity. This activity was designed as an art therapy initiative aimed at improving the participants' quality of life. Today, the space not only functions as a visitation and recreation area but has also become a marketplace for handicrafts and a venue for events, such as the exercise of the right to vote.
